Funny

Today I decided to put Jeremiah in the bathtub while I showered, because the last few times he just stands on the outside of the tub crying! And, to be honest, shower time is my relax time! Anyway, he was so funny, he just sat there playing with his toys, until I picked him up. Today, he finally realized that he could drink the water that was sprinkling down on him! He kept sticking out his tongue to catch whatever water he could! I love seeing Jeremiah's new discoveries, it's like seeing the world through completely different eyes.

Lately

So, Jeremiah has made up a game of "I know I'm not supposed to do this, but I'll just laugh and you'll think I'm cute!" My mom has a China Hutch that Jeremiah loves to go and open and shut the doors on, and one time he slammed the door shut and made the plates jiggle. My mom said, "That's enough." So I went and got Jeremiah and put him by me. Next thing I know he's crawling back to the china hutch, stops, looks at me, laughs, crawls...I say "What are you doing?" He laughs and opens the door to the china hutch! He kept doing it, and every time we go over, he does it again...I think it's his favorite game to play, so it's my favorite game too!!! ;)
He also likes to crawl to the banister at my parent's house and walk his way across it! It's so funny, he's such a curious baby and he turns 8 months in 3 days!!!!! I can't believe it.
This weekend I switched out all of his 6-9 month clothes, and swapped them for 12 month cloths...already!!! And, I need to go shopping!!!!! I love baby shopping though, so I guess it's okay ;)

HIGH CHAIR ;) (2/7/10)

So, after a few months of procrastination, I finally went out and got Jeremiah his first high chair! He LOVED it, I don't know why I waited so long. It was so much fun to sit and watch him eat his cheerios this morning...he's getting to be my big boy!

New Events

Within the last month, Jeremiah has started "crawling" all over the place! His form of crawling is sooo cute and so much fun, he pulls with his arms and kicks with his little legs! He has gotten soo fast. He also likes to pull himself up onto everything, which is scary for me because almost everytime he falls and 50% of the time he hits his poor little head. But he gets to be more and more fun everyday!
Last night I had him on the floor, trying to get his pj's on and he would try to crawl away, so I'd grab him and he'd laugh and do it all over again. I love seeing his cute little personality coming out...babies are so much fun!

Jeremiah

Like I mentioned, Jeremiah was born June 18, 2009. He was born at 7 pounds 13 ounces! He came a whole 6 days early, which was a wonderful blessing to me! It has been so much fun to watch Jeremiah learn, grow, and progress over the last 7 months of his life! He is already crawling all over the house and getting his little hands on EVERTHING that he can touch! He loves to crawl to the gate in the kitchen and watch our puppy, Scrappy! It is too cute!
We just had our first Christmas with Jeremiah. I think that Christmas with a baby, brings the true meaning of Christmas back to life!

I'm a little slow in the "blogging world", but here I go! ;)

It's now 2010, and life is still changing, almost daily!
Patrick and I met in October 2007, while attending the Casper 7th Branch together. We started dating the following January, were engaged that June, and were married August 9, 2008! That was such a wonderful and fun experience! Amber (my younger sister) and Brett were married the day before, and we were both married in the Logan Utah Temple, for time and eternity!
An unplanned, pregnacy ONE month later, took our life by storm! But lo and behold, Jeremiah Michael Martin was born June 18, 2009 and has been the biggest blessing in both of our lives!
